💉 HPV Vaccination in São Paulo Schools
A study investigates the actions and barriers to HPV vaccination in schools in São Paulo municipalities between 2015 and 2018. Most municipalities carried out educational and immunization actions, but faced challenges such as lack of human resources and resistance from parents and schools.
The main difficulties pointed out by those responsible for vaccination actions in the municipalities were: lack of human resources, resistance from parents, and doubts from schools. Partnerships between health and education, awareness about HPV prevention, and strategies such as vaccination during school entry/exit times were cited as positive points for the campaign.
