The journal Cadernos de Saúde Pública (CSP) is committed to keeping pace with changes in scientific communication and trends in science outreach. To this end, it has invested in editorial improvements to meet demands for quality and efficiency in the publication of manuscripts and, for the past eight years, has been professionally engaged in science outreach activities.
For CSP, the dissemination and use of scientific knowledge are an essential part of its contribution to society. For this reason, it has expanded its presence on social media, in audiovisual production, and through journalistic partnerships to reach broader audiences.
The CSP Blog is one of the key elements of this evolution, which aims to broaden the reach of published articles by promoting dialogue among academia, the press, and all those interested in science and public health. The blog will feature news articles, columns, audiovisual content, and historical materials, thereby strengthening science communication as an integral part of CSP’s editorial mission.
The goal is to present, in more accessible language, relevant topics in Public Health/Collective Health published on the journal’s official website, while maintaining the scientific rigor that has characterized CSP for over four decades. To this end, we will continue to rely on the support of our Editorial Board and our authors in preparing and reviewing the materials to be published.
To host this content, CSP’s designers have created a responsive, intuitive, and easy-to-navigate layout. The blog features trilingual interfaces and accessibility tools, such as a drop-down menu in the footer, color contrast, and font size adjustment.
Welcome to the CSP Blog, a permanent invitation to read, engage in critical reflection, and collectively build knowledge, amplifying voices and bringing research closer to the people.
