On this International Women’s Day, we reaffirm a fundamental commitment: we want women and girls to be alive, healthy, and respected. ✊🏽
💜 At Cadernos de Saúde Pública, this commitment is also reflected in the way the journal is structured: we have three editors-in-chief, as well as an editorial board and technical staff composed primarily of women. This presence strengthens the production and dissemination of knowledge committed to equity, health, and women’s rights.
On this March 8, we celebrate all the women who make science and public health happen every day—in research, scientific publishing, and the communication of knowledge. Because defending the lives, health, and respect of women and girls also means strengthening science.
