September is a month dedicated to raising awareness and reflecting on mental health. As Cadernos de Saúde Pública is a well-known forum for this work, we will be using our social media this month to expand this discussion.
With the launch of a new Thematic Section: Global Mental Health, which brings together three articles and an Editorial dedicated to the topic, we have prepared a special week of dissemination to deepen the discussion on challenges and pathways for mental health care in Brazil and the world.
The articles in the Thematic Section address issues such as the integration of mental health into primary care in precarious and conflict-ridden contexts, mental disorders in people deprived of liberty, and the impacts of violence on mental health.
